Meta Kitchen is the labour of love of a chef with a deep passion for creating memorable culinary experiences

If you love fresh pasta, are keen to support local producers and enjoy knowing that your favourite dishes on the menu will always be just as good as the first time you tried them, Meta Kitchen might be the place for you!

This chef-owned, BYO restaurant in Maroochydore is the place for a tasty lunch, as well as a relaxed evening with friends. The Chef, Viorel Copolovici (call him ‘Vio’), has brought his life-long passion for great food to Maroochydore four years ago and shared it with hundreds of customers, many of whom have become friends.

Meta Kitchen is a special place. It is a one-man-show. Vio will answer your calls when you make a booking (he always appreciates a text, as he might just be stirring that Carbonara when you happen to call). He will welcome you when you arrive, he will cook for you, serve you and, when he has a bit of time, he might ask you what’s your story. Vio loves learning stories and has a good few to share himself.

People return to Meta Kitchen because the food is delicious and you never know what specials Vio might dream up next week. And they return because it starts feeling a bit like home - a cozy place where you can bring friends and family and feel you are always welcome.

Vio’s pasta always tastes best when hot out of the pot, so he’ll aways love having you there, relaxing on the terrace with your favourite wine, while he cooks for you. But he’ll be equally happy to pack it up for you to take-away or send it via Uber. He’ll also love creating a bespoke menu just for your special event or perhaps host a culinary workshop for you and your team or friends - all you need to do is ask.
